Where are the Hollywood Musicals?

I sit on my bed listening to Somewhere Over The Rainbow: The Golden Age of Hollywood Musicals.
I recall when my bestest friend (EVELYN!!!!) introduced me to the world of Hollywood Musicals and of course, Gene Kelly: his dancing, singing and of course, his high pants.
I wonder what ever happend to Hollywood Musicals.
Is it just Musicals on Broadway and terrible Hollywood movies like Memoirs of the Geisha?
It is a sad day for Hollywood.

S'wonderful doncha think?

Mel's Rant #1

why can't we singaporean's clean up after themselves?
why do we leave our half eaten plates spread out all over the table at food courts and fast food resturants?
why do we shout for the 80 year old auntie or uncle to clean our table? Do we always expect someone to clean up after our mess?
why can't we stack the plates up nicely and put it to one side until the auntie or uncle come around, or even better still pass them the plates? Or if you are at a fast food resturant, throw YOUR rubbish away! There are more than enough clearing bins for YOUR rubbish and trays.
why don't we start using the one hundred and one packets of tissue you carry and clean the table ourselves?
Or is the tissue only for your utensils and mouth?
Does the Singapore Government need to uphold 'clean up yourself' campaigns? They go very well with our Smile and No Littering Campaigns.
Do yourself a favour. Clean up after yourself. Just because we pay cleaners $5 an hour does not mean we can boss cleaners around.
